|
| The
U.K. Community Issues Party has decided to Boycott the
General Election on 6th May 2010 and will not be fielding
any candidates in the constituency of Woking due to our
mounting concerns as follows:- |
| 1.
Woking Borough Council has failed to comply with our requests
for up to date information under the Freedom of Information
Act and as a result we are overwhelmingly disadvantaged. |
| We
rely upon Woking Borough Council to
provide correct information, inevitably sometimes requests
are repeated due to changes in council activities, decisions
and spending. We need to ensure we have the up to date
information including changes to figures and information
the council has not previously complied with. |
| 2.
Woking Borough Council have not provided us with some
of the information requested with regard to our concerns
surrounding the 2005 General Election |
| We
will be contacting the U.K. Human Rights Commission and
the Minister for Justice -
