U. K. Community Issues Party
The failure of the Government and the majority of politicians to address and failure to assist NHS victims and the families who have lost loved ones. Many victims experience widespread prejudice, government inactivity and deficiencies in the justice and complaint systems which means that many victims are denied justice.

A copy of our letter to David Cameron, Leader of the Conservative Party dated 7th December 2007
Dear Mr Cameron

Please find enclosed a copy of the letter dated 4 th December 2007 . I wrote to you because as Leader of the Conservative Party in opposition to the government you have an obligation to discharge your responsibilities to hold the government accountable.

We have previously raised our concerns with you regarding the NHS and believe that you should have responded personally as our concerns affect many people due to the failures by the government, the NHS and the complaints and legal systems.
Miscarriages of justice do happen and there can be no greater miscarriage than that to the surviving victims of NHS errors not getting the right treatment and being labeled as problem patients by the NHS and justice system . Currently there are no politicians analysing or speaking out openly regarding what is happening to the victims of unsolved cases and patients where the truth has not been recorded on their medical records and who are not included in the statistics.

There are deficiencies in the system designed by the government which allows this injustice to continue and mainly affects the poorest in our society who cannot afford access to the justice system and are therefore unequal in law to the NHS/government

There is no current mechanism to address impropriety and the abuse by individuals within our public services, justice system and complaint bodies. The investigating authorities are conveniently structured to protect the professionals and are only causing more frustration to the victims and the families who have lost their loved ones.

The deficiencies and malaise in the NHS have existed for years over both the labour and previous conservative governments; the truth lies with the victims and the families who have lost their loved ones. Victims want recognition of justice it is the very least the government owes.
With reference of the letter from Ian Pendlington dated 04/11/07 mentioning the Parliamentary Health Ombudsman, over the last 40 years, who has benefited from the existence of the Parliamentary Health Ombudsman which costs we believe £23 million per year in public money?
Where doctors do not record the truth on patient's records following an operation / treatment / incident / error / mistake does the Ombudsman carry out a medical assessment on the victims?

Does the Ombudsman obtain a sworn affidavit from the Doctor or management involved?

Does the Ombudsman obtain all the victims records in order to establish the truth?
If the Ombudsman only gets involved in investigating criminal cases, should this not be for the police to investigate?
Currently many victims have taken their complaints to you or their elected parliamentary representatives who refer the complaint straight back to those complained against and the complaints are again brushed under the carpet of deceit.
I believe that many political parties and prospective parliamentary candidates are misleading the public during elections and they should make clear what cases they would be involved in when assisting the general public who appeal for their help.

Since 1999 I have not met a victim of the NHS who has been assisted by their M.P. Any Politian who respects the Human Rights of all victims and opposes specific abuse, discrimination and injustice should join us in calling for an a open public investigation covering the last 30 years over the labour and conservative governments into all unsolved Cases in the NHS.

Yours sincerely
